It's me, Madison Rae! For the longest time I have wanted to start a blog. The time has finally come, bum ba da bum!!! That, if you were not aware, was my sad attempt at writing out that horn sound effect they use in movies to announce when the prince is coming. The first blog seems to be the hardest, I am not sure whether I should create a vision/purpose to my blog or let you develop your own views of it over time. I think I shall opt for a combination of the two. Overall I want this blog to be a place for all people to come, read and relate and leave a little bit happier and motivated to be themselves. I myself would not say that I am an outcast for being different, but yet I am certainly not a follower. I see myself as a "la dee da" person, frolicking through life doing whatever gives me wholesome happy vibes. This normally shows up in the form of random silly accents, singing homemade songs to fill awkward silences, and dancing sporadically to non-existent music.
During one of this "la dee da" moments, I was playing with my hair in the mirror, when I caught a glimmer of something shiny. I of course being as curious as I am had to find the source of the shine. I dug deep into the depths of my thick hair to find low and behold a single blonde strand of hair. Now considering I have black hair this was rather strange. The stranger part being that the strand was completely blonde except for the very tip which was black! I feel like a blonde at times but now I actually can say I am one, to an extent. Upon coming to this revelation I proceeded to run downstairs to share this incredible news to my entire family. This brought me inconceivable joy! :)

Lastly I would like to share a dream I have with you, of one day having a pet bumble bee on a leash. When I was little I wondered what it would be like to have a pet bumble bee. I had this extravagant plan, that I would capture and deep freeze a bumble bee. Then, of course, I would put a leash on it. After the bumble bee thawed I would then have a pet bumble bee. Although this plan is not exactly plausible, I still believe in it. I believe in my bumble bee plan because it reminds me to never stop dreaming. Sometimes when life isn't exactly going my way, I like to stop and imagine the most absurd thing happening. If I am stuck on a math problem during a trigonometry test I imagine a giant pink elephant walking into the room, stomping on my desk and walking away with my test stuck to his foot. In that moment, I brought just that much more joy into my day, that I can then spread to someone else. I hope I left you with some wholesome happy vibes.

          Blog you later,

          Madison Rae
